Welcome to Neverglade!
This world was created by Pyronium3 in 2010 with the aim of providing a free world for the exchange that rivaled EA’s premium worlds… and that’s exactly what he made! Neverglade is as detailed as any EA world available for download or in an expansion pack.
So what does the world have?
Neverglade is a small town nestled in a valley of mountains , with its own lakes, rivers and forests spread throughout the landscape. As you can see from the photos, the world is huge, yet it never feels like your sims are secluded from the rest of the community, or too far away from a neighbour.
The choice of community types available can be quite varied. For example you can choose to move into the town center, which has a main street look to it.
This area allows you to be close to your neighbours, and all the town facilities like the cinema, restaurant and grocery store -all within quick walking distance.
Adjacent to this area are the main civic buildings and the town park.
Outside of the main town center are several other small developments. Such as slightly more modern looking private villas with a community park and pond:
Or just regular houses on the outside of town, but not too far from main street!
Once you’re outside of town and its surrounding suburbs, you get into the more rural communities. These just consist of a few houses close together, either by a lake, river, or just one house on its town at the top of a hill or in the dense forest.
Obviously all towns will have different types of communities, from rich to poor, high density areas to rural farms, but the natural landscape is what probably counts the most. It is this that makes the difference between a world looking realistic or just an amateur mess. Thankfully, pyronium3 has created an amazing world that looks both realistic and beautiful. The terrain looks natural and believable, and the choice of tree types also contribute towards making it seem more realistic.
So is Neverglade worth downloading? Hell yeah it is! Even if it’s not quite the type of world you’re after, we recommend giving it a try anyway and downloading it (you can do that by clicking here). It’s free and has no custom content, so you have nothing to lose. This world is perfect to give your sims a peaceful life in the mountains, and it’s not a great deal different from EA’s Hidden Springs. There is plenty to do there with all the rabit holes provided, but also with all the hidden areas ready for exploring. The only problem is that it is not populated, so you will need to fill it yourself.
Oh and one more thing… it’s awesome with the Seasons expansions pack :D
